Your dad and your children are so proud to have a son and dad like you! It looks like one thing you need to know or maybe think of is sometimes you need to live for yourself first, do things that you yourself really want or enjoy to do ( easy to say but hard to do lol) Because you have to be happy first before you can make other people happy. I have the same impressions.
I run the trial with a pretty big archive of CAD files (30gb, 40 000 files), and it took several days to sync it online, even after DirectSynching everything inititally. During the cloud upload time Cubby did not keep up with changes locally, and this took several days so I had to deactivate it. I also have a few cases of missing folders and files, mainly when a folder with several files have has been deleted from a client before all the containing files were properly synced.

I was already using join.me (from LogMeIn, same company that develops Cubby) and received an offer for Cubby for 1 year @ $39.99 for 100GB, plus the 5GB I started with, for a total of 105GB of storage. There are pros and cons to both Cubby and Dropbox. My main issue with Dropbox occured when I would log in from my iPhone or iPad to try and share a file with a customer where Dropbox would email them a link to download the file, many times the link would error out. Made me look bad! With Cubby this is not an issue. I still use join.me for my presentations over my company's WebEx account. join.me is much better and I can't wait until they go full production with HTML5 support.

i can't agree with you any better. Cubby is fairly good. but for now I'm not using it because its not mature enough yet. Some of my files are missing. It appears to be a time zone issues/file time stamps issues. I move my itunes folder to it and 10% of my files gone missing in itunes with a question mark.

I think Cubby is better, more flexible. And considering that this is a much younger service...

Dropbox is more for share pics and things with Facebook friends. If you want something professional, you can hop a private ftp server, but all these services do not seem feasible in a professional environment.

CUBBY PROS:

- Total flexibility to create shared folders
- Enough free space (5GB, up to 25GB)
- Interface friendly local application with simple but sufficient information.
- Web tool with useful utilities.
- PRO Version Assequible, if a member of the beta, only 4 $ / month

I think there are sufficient grounds to prefer before Dropbox.

I wouldn't have found such a wonderful friend. In my 12 years of Tibia Career I never met a friend who actually offer to help. Its always being asked or paid to do so.
